ITINERARY
6 NIGHT – 7 DAYS

Day 1: Arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport – Acclimatization

• Arrival at Leh Airport
• Meet & greet and transfer to hotel
• Due to high altitude (approx. 11,500 ft), complete rest is recommended for acclimatization
• Avoid heavy activity and drink plenty of water

Evening (if comfortable):

• Short walk around local market

Overnight stay in Leh

Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley Excursion

After breakfast, drive towards Sham Valley (west of Leh).

Places to visit:

• Hall of Fame – Museum maintained by the Indian Army
• Gurudwara Pathar Sahib – Sacred Sikh shrine
• Magnetic Hill – Gravity-defying hill phenomenon
• Indus Zanskar Sangam – Confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers

Return to Leh in the evening.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

After breakfast:

• Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the highest motorable roads

Sightseeing:

• Diskit Monastery – Giant Maitreya Buddha statue
• Hunder Sand Dunes – White sand desert

Activities:

• Optional Bactrian camel ride

Overnight stay in Nubra Valley

Day 4: Excursion to Turtuk

After breakfast:

• Drive to Turtuk Village near the Indo-Pakistan border

Highlights:

• Traditional Balti culture
• Apricot orchards
• Views of Karakoram mountains
• One of the northernmost villages of India

Evening return to Nubra.
Overnight stay in Nubra

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shayok

After breakfast:

• Drive to Pangong Lake via Shayok route

Enroute:

• Remote villages
• Nomadic tribes with yaks and pashmina goats

At Pangong Lake (14,270 ft):

• Walk along the lake
• Enjoy changing lake colors
• Sunset photography

Overnight stay near Pangong Lake

Day 6: Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass

After breakfast:

• Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,688 ft)

Highlights:

• Short stop at the pass
• Scenic high-altitude drive

Arrival in Leh

Evening:

• Free time for shopping at Leh Market

Overnight stay in Leh

Day 7: Departure from Leh

• Breakfast at hotel
• Transfer to Leh Airport
• Board flight for onward journey
