ITINERARY

10 Days - 09 Nights 

Day 1: Chandigarh to Narkanda

Distance: 175 km | Duration: Approx. 6 Hours

Arrival at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station, followed by a scenic drive to Narkanda. Enjoy beautiful views of the Shivalik ranges en route.Check-in at the hotel.
Overnight stay in Narkanda.

Day 2: Narkanda to Sangla

Distance: 159 km | Duration: Approx. 5 Hours

After breakfast, drive towards Sangla in the beautiful Baspa Valley (9,000 ft). Known for its stunning landscapes, apple orchards, and rich Kinnauri culture, Sangla is often compared to the famous valley of Kashmir Valley.This valley was opened to tourists in 1993 due to its proximity to the Indo-Tibetan border.Check-in at the hotel.
Overnight stay in Sangla.

Day 3: Sangla – Chitkul – Sangla

Distance: 40 km | Duration: Approx. 3 Hours

After breakfast, explore:

Kamru Fort & Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya Devi (brought from Assam) and Nagesh Devta.

Later, excursion to Chitkul, the last inhabited village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route.

Enjoy walks through apple orchards and along the Baspa River.Return to Sangla for dinner.
Overnight stay in Sangla.

Day 4: Sangla to Kalpa

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kalpa (District Headquarters of Kinnaur).

Kalpa, formerly known as Chini, offers spectacular views of the majestic Kinnaur Kailash and Jorkanden Peaks, believed to be one of the mythical abodes of Lord Shiva. The famous 79-ft Shivling-shaped rock formation changes color throughout the day.Evening visit to Hu Bu Lan Kar Buddhist Gompa.
Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Day 5: Kalpa Local Sightseeing

Early morning enjoy sunrise over the Kinnaur Kailash range.

After breakfast:

Visit apple orchards and Chilgoza (pine nut) plantations

Explore Narayan Nagini Temple Complex.Visit local village school.Afternoon excursion to Roghi Village to experience traditional Pahari lifestyle

Return to hotel.
Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Day 6: Kalpa to Tabo (via Nako)

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Tabo.

En route visit Nako Village:

Beautiful Nako Lake (freezes in winter; locals play ice hockey)

Visit Padmasambhava Temple (Guru Rinpoche), who spread Buddhism across the Trans-Himalayas.Continue drive to Tabo.
Overnight stay in Tabo (Hotel/Camp).

Day 7: Tabo to Kaza

Distance: 106 km | Duration: Approx. 4 Hours | Altitude: 3,600 m

After breakfast, visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, often called the “Ajanta of the Himalayas” for its priceless murals and thangka paintings.Visit the famous 500-year-old mummy at Gue Village (if time permits).Later drive to Kaza.
Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 8: Kaza Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, excursion to:

• Key Monastery
• Kibber (4,205 m)
• Post lunch drive to:
• Langza
• Komic (One of the highest motorable villages)
• Hikkim (World’s highest post office)

Return to Kaza.
Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 9: Kaza – Kunzum La – Losar – Manali

Early breakfast and drive towards Manali via:

• Kunzum Pass (4,590 m), the highest pass in Spiti region
• Losar Village

Continue drive to Manali.Check-in at hotel.
Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 10: Manali to Chandigarh

After breakfast, drive to Chandigarh via the scenic Kullu Valley.Drop at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station for onward journey with beautiful memories of Spiti & Kinnaur.
