ITINERARY
09 Days - 08 Nights
Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla (125 km / 4 hrs)
Arrive at Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport and drive to Shimla (approx. 4 hours).Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. In the evening, you are free to explore The Mall Road and local markets.
Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla to Sangla (230 km / 8–9 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Sangla via Kufri, Fagu, and Narkanda, passing through dense forests and alongside the River Sutlej.Arrive in Sangla by evening and check in to the hotel. Enjoy the serene surroundings of the Baspa Valley at an altitude of 9,000 ft. Sangla Valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas, known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards.

Day 3: Sangla – Nako – Tabo
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Tabo.En route visit Nako, known for its beautiful lake (which freezes in winter and is used for ice hockey). Visit the temple of Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), who played a key role in spreading Buddhism in the Trans-Himalayan region.You will also visit the famous 500-year-old mummy in Gue village (subject to accessibility). Later continue the drive to Tabo.

Day 4: Tabo – Dhankar – Kaza (106 km / 4 hrs | 3600 m)
After breakfast, visit Tabo Monastery, often called the "Ajanta of the Himalayas," known for its ancient caves and precious Thangka paintings. Later visit Dhankar Monastery and then drive to Kaza.

Day 5: Kaza Local Sightseeing + Chicham Bridge – Kunzum Pass Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing:
Visit Key Monastery
Explore Kibber (Altitude: 4,205 m)
Drive to Chicham Bridge, one of the highest bridges in Asia
Excursion to Kunzum Pass (4,590 m), the highest pass on the Spiti–Lahaul road
Return to Kaza by evening.

Day 6: Kaza – Langza – Komic – Hikkim – Tabo
After breakfast, visit the high-altitude villages of:
Langza
Komic (one of the highest motorable villages in the world)
Hikkim (home to one of the world’s highest post offices) Later drive back to Tabo.
Overnight stay at hotel in Tabo.
Day 7: Tabo – Kalpa Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kalpa, the district headquarters of Kinnaur and once known as Chini.Kalpa offers magnificent views of the Kinner Kailash range and Jorkanden Peak. It is believed to be one of the mythical abodes of Lord Shiva. The famous rock formation resembling a Shivling changes color throughout the day and is visible on clear days.In the evening, visit Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar Gompa.

Day 8: Kalpa – Sarahan – Shimla (Approx. 10 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Shimla.En route visit Sarahan, known for its scenic beauty and ancient temples.Continue the drive to Shimla.

Day 9: Shimla to Chandigarh (125 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Chandigarh.
Drop at Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.
