ITEINERARY
Gangtok (2N) – Pelling (2N) – Darjeeling (2N)
Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station – Transfer to Gangtok
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to Gangtok, a beautiful hill station and the capital of Sikkim. On reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax. The rest of the day is free to explore the local markets or simply unwind amidst the scenic surroundings. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, located about 35 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. This glacial lake is famous for its scenic beauty and the legends associated with it. Later, visit the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, also known as New Baba Mandir. Nathula Pass (Indo-China border) can also be visited at an additional cost of ₹4500–₹5000 per vehicle, subject to permit availability. Please note that Nathula Pass remains closed on Mondays. After sightseeing, return to your hotel in Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok to Pelling
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pelling, a peaceful hill station situated at an altitude of 2,000 meters. The drive offers breathtaking views of the mountains and lush valleys. On arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 4: Pelling Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit the beautiful Kanchenjunga Falls, Rimbi Waterfall, and the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, also known as the wish-fulfilling lake. Continue to explore Pemayangtse Monastery, Orange Garden, and the historic Rabdentse Ruins, which once served as the capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim. Optional visits include the Sky Walk at an additional cost of ₹1500 per vehicle and Singshore Bridge, the second-highest suspension bridge in Asia, at ₹2500 per vehicle. After sightseeing, return to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 5: Pelling to Darjeeling
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Darjeeling, famously known as the “Queen of the Hills.” On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. The evening is free to stroll around the Mall Road or explore the local markets. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 6: Darjeeling Sightseeing Tour
Early in the morning, drive to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the region, and Batasia Loop, a beautiful spiral railway track offering panoramic views of Darjeeling. Return to the hotel for breakfast, and later proceed for a city sightseeing tour. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (both closed on Thursdays), the Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays), Tenzing Rock and Gombu Rock, a Tea Estate (outer view), and the Japanese Peace Pagoda. Please note that Tiger Hill passes are limited to 600 vehicles per day and are issued by the Sadar Traffic Office a day in advance, subject to availability. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 7: Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. Your tour ends here with wonderful memories of Sikkim and Darjeeling.
