AMAZING LADAKH WITH TURTUK

Day 01: Arrival in Leh | Local Sightseeing

On arrival at Leh Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, rest for acclimatization due to the high altitude (approx. 4,000 meters).

In the late afternoon (around 4:00 PM), visit:

• Shanti Stupa – A white-domed Buddhist stupa offering panoramic city views
• Leh Palace – Former royal palace overlooking Leh town
• Leh Market – Famous for Pashmina shawls, apricot products, Tibetan handicrafts, Ladakhi jewelry, carpets, and souvenirs

Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: Complete rest is strongly recommended on Day 1 to help your body adjust to the altitude.

Day 02: Sham Valley Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day Sham Valley tour:

• Sangam – Confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers
• Magnetic Hill – Gravity-defying optical illusion spot
• Gurudwara Pathar Sahib – Built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji
• Hall of Fame Museum – Indian Army war memorial
• Spituk Monastery (Gompa)

Return to the hotel by evening.
Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: Vehicle charges will be extra for the Light & Sound Show at Hall of Fame (if attended).

Day 03: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

Distance: 135 km | Time: ~5 hours

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (Hunder) via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft) – one of the world’s highest motorable roads.

On arrival, check in to your camp/cottage and relax. Later visit:

• Hunder Sand Dunes
• Optional Bactrian Camel Ride (on direct payment basis)

Enjoy the scenic beauty of Nubra Valley, famous for orchards, wildflowers, and double-humped camels.

Dinner & overnight stay at the camp/cottage.

Day 04: Nubra – Turtuk – Nubra

Distance: 80 km (one way) | Time: 2–3 hours

After breakfast, proceed to Turtuk Village, a beautiful border village near the Indo-Pak border:

Home to the Balti tribe with unique culture and cuisine

Known for apricots, traditional sword dance & scenic landscapes

Enjoy views of the Shyok River and surrounding Karakoram ranges

Evening return to Nubra Valley.
Dinner & overnight stay at the camp/cottage.

Day 05: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok

After breakfast, visit:

• Diskit Monastery – Famous for the Maitreya Buddha statue

Continue your journey to Pangong Lake via Shayok route (subject to road conditions).

• Pangong Lake Highlights:
• Crystal-clear saline water
• Surrounded by majestic mountains

Famous filming location

On arrival, check in to lakeside camps.
Dinner & overnight stay at Pangong camps.

Note: If Shayok route is closed, additional charges apply
(SUV approx. ₹4,000 | Traveler approx. ₹7,000 via Warila Route).

Day 06: Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass

Distance: ~155 km

After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass:

• Visit Hemis Monastery
• Visit Thiksey Monastery
• Visit Shey Palace

Arrive in Leh by evening.
Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Ladakh.
